DLHD applies a continuous publication model within its regular issue structure. Once a manuscript has been accepted and has successfully completed copyediting, proofreading, layout, metadata preparation, and final publication checks, the final article may be published immediately in the active issue.
Authors therefore do not need to wait until all articles scheduled for the same issue have completed production. New articles may be added progressively to the active issue throughout its publication period.
This model is intended to shorten unnecessary delays between final acceptance, production completion, and public dissemination while preserving the journal's formal volume and issue structure.
An article is considered formally published when its final Version of Record is made publicly available through the DLHD journal platform with its definitive bibliographic metadata.
Because DLHD applies continuous publication, each article may have its own formal publication date corresponding to the date on which the Version of Record is first made publicly available. Article-level publication dates, issue records, DOI metadata, and associated bibliographic information should be maintained consistently across the journal's publishing systems.
Continuous publication concerns the timing of publication after an article is editorially and technically ready. It does not shorten, bypass, or compromise editorial assessment, independent peer review, revision, research-integrity evaluation, ethical requirements, copyediting, proofreading, or other quality-assurance procedures.
Articles ready for publication are assigned to the appropriate active regular issue according to the journal's publication schedule. The issue remains open for the progressive publication of additional eligible articles until the journal transitions to the next regular issue.
The continuous addition of articles does not alter the journal's official publication frequency. DLHD remains a biannual journal with two regular issues each year.
DLHD may publish special issues or thematic collections when they support the journal's scholarly aims and provide a coherent contribution to human development, learning, decision-making, or related interdisciplinary research.
Special issues do not replace the journal's two regular annual issues and are subject to the same standards of editorial independence, peer review, research integrity, competing-interest management, and publication ethics applied to regular submissions.
Any future change to DLHD's publication frequency or publication model will be formally approved and publicly disclosed through the journal website. Relevant journal information, publication policies, issue metadata, and bibliographic records will be updated prospectively to maintain transparency and consistency.
Decision, Learning, and Human Development (DLHD) is institutionally affiliated with Yayasan Kalidaka Cendikia Nusantara and formally published by CV WISE Pendidikan Indonesia.
The institutional affiliation and publisher support publication continuity, publishing infrastructure, dissemination, metadata administration, and scholarly development while respecting the independence of the Editor-in-Chief, Editorial Board, reviewers, and established peer-review and editorial decision-making processes.
