Article Processing Charge (APC)

Publication Fees & Author Charges
Agriculture, Livestock, and Food Industry (ALFI) operates under a fully open-access publishing model without charging authors any article processing charge, submission fee, publication fee, or other mandatory author-side fee. Submission, peer review, editorial processing, production, publication, and online access are provided completely free of charge.
No Article Processing Charge
ALFI does not charge an Article Processing Charge (APC). Authors are not required to make any payment at submission, during peer review, following acceptance, during production, or after publication. Diamond Open Access
Free for Authors and Readers

ALFI follows a Diamond Open Access publishing model. Under this model, authors are not charged to publish and readers are not charged to access published scholarly content. The journal seeks to remove financial barriers from both the production and dissemination of research while maintaining rigorous editorial and peer-review standards.

The absence of author fees does not reduce the journal's expectations regarding originality, methodological rigor, ethical compliance, transparency, peer review, editorial quality, or scholarly contribution. All submitted manuscripts are evaluated according to the journal's established editorial criteria regardless of the author's financial circumstances.

No Payment Is Required at Any Stage

Authors will not receive an invoice or mandatory payment request from ALFI for manuscript submission, editorial screening, peer review, revision, acceptance, DOI assignment, copyediting, layout, publication, online hosting, or open-access dissemination. Acceptance and publication are never conditional on payment by an author, institution, sponsor, or research funder.

Equal Opportunity
No Waiver Application Is Necessary

Because ALFI does not levy an APC or other mandatory author-side publication fee, authors do not need to request a waiver, discount, fee reduction, or financial exemption. The same zero-fee policy applies to all eligible authors and manuscripts regardless of geographic location, institutional resources, research funding, career stage, or socioeconomic circumstances.

Editorial Independence
Fees and Editorial Decisions

Financial considerations do not influence manuscript evaluation, peer review, editorial decisions, publication scheduling, or post-publication action. Editors and reviewers assess manuscripts on the basis of scholarly merit, originality, methodological rigor, relevance to the journal's scope, research integrity, ethical compliance, and contribution to knowledge.

Authors affiliated with ALFI, its Editorial Board, Yayasan Kalidaka Cendikia Nusantara, WISE Pendidikan Indonesia, or any supporting institution receive no financial or editorial advantage in manuscript evaluation. Where an editor or Editorial Board member is an author, the manuscript is handled independently in accordance with the journal's conflict-of-interest and publication-ethics procedures.

Funding of Publication
How Publication Costs Are Supported

The costs associated with journal management, editorial infrastructure, digital publication, scholarly dissemination, and related publishing activities are supported through the journal's institutional and publishing arrangements rather than through mandatory charges imposed on authors or readers. This funding arrangement enables ALFI to maintain its Diamond Open Access model while preserving editorial independence.

Unauthorized Payment Requests

ALFI does not authorize editors, reviewers, agents, intermediaries, third parties, or other individuals to request payment from authors in exchange for submission, peer review, acceptance, expedited publication, DOI registration, or publication in the journal.

Authors who receive a payment request claiming to represent ALFI are encouraged to verify the request directly through the journal's official editorial contact channel before taking any action. Unauthorized requests should be reported to the Editorial Office.

Transparency
No Hidden or Post-Acceptance Charges

ALFI does not introduce hidden charges after a manuscript has been submitted, reviewed, revised, or accepted. Authors will not be asked to pay a previously undisclosed fee as a condition for completion of the publication process. The journal's official author-fee policy is therefore straightforward: submission is free, processing is free, publication is free, and access is free.

Zero-Fee Publication Statement
Authors pay nothing to publish in ALFI. There is no submission fee, no processing fee, no peer-review fee, no acceptance fee, no publication fee, no DOI fee, and no Article Processing Charge (APC). Readers likewise have immediate and free access to published scholarly content under the journal's Open Access Policy.
Publishing Responsibility

Agriculture, Livestock, and Food Industry (ALFI) is affiliated with Yayasan Kalidaka Cendikia Nusantara and formally published by WISE Pendidikan Indonesia. The journal and publisher are committed to maintaining a transparent, equitable, and financially accessible scholarly publishing environment.

This Article Processing Charge (APC) Policy should be read together with ALFI's Open Access Policy, Copyright and Licensing Policy, Publication Ethics, Peer Review Policy, and other applicable editorial policies. The journal will ensure that any future amendment to its author-fee policy, if ever adopted, is transparently disclosed on the official journal website before it applies to new submissions.
