Open Access Policy
ALFI supports the principle that making research freely available contributes to a more equitable and effective global exchange of knowledge. Accordingly, published articles are accessible to readers worldwide without subscription barriers or institutional access restrictions.
Subject to the applicable open license and any clearly identified third-party rights, users may read, download, copy, distribute, print, search, link to, text- and data-mine, and otherwise lawfully reuse published content without requesting prior permission from the journal or publisher.
Open access applies to the scholarly content published by the journal and does not imply that third-party material incorporated into an article is automatically covered by the same license where a different copyright or licensing status has been expressly indicated.

Unless otherwise indicated, articles published in ALFI are distributed under the Creative Commons Attribution 4.0 International License (CC BY 4.0).
Under this license, users may share, copy, redistribute, adapt, remix, transform, and build upon published material for any lawful purpose, including commercial use, provided that appropriate credit is given to the original author(s) and source, the applicable license is identified, and any modifications are clearly indicated.
Authors retain copyright in their published work. Submission and acceptance of a manuscript do not require authors to transfer ownership of copyright to ALFI, Yayasan Kalidaka Cendikia Nusantara, or WISE Pendidikan Indonesia.
By publishing with ALFI, authors grant the journal and its publisher a non-exclusive right of first publication and the rights reasonably necessary to publish, reproduce, distribute, preserve, index, display, and disseminate the version of record as part of the scholarly publishing process.
Authors remain free to reuse their own work, distribute it, incorporate it into subsequent scholarly works, deposit it in repositories, and otherwise exercise their copyright, provided that the original publication in ALFI is appropriately acknowledged where applicable.
ALFI permits authors to deposit and disseminate their manuscripts through institutional repositories, subject repositories, personal academic websites, scholarly profiles, and other lawful non-exclusive dissemination channels.
Authors may archive the submitted manuscript, accepted manuscript, and published version of record, provided that the version is accurately identified and, for the published version, appropriate citation and acknowledgement of the final publication in ALFI are maintained.
No embargo period is imposed by the journal on repository deposit of the published article.
Figures, photographs, datasets, maps, illustrations, excerpts, or other material owned by third parties may not necessarily be covered by the article's Creative Commons license.
Where third-party material is reproduced under permission, another license, statutory exception, or other lawful basis, its copyright and licensing status should be clearly identified in the article. Users wishing to reuse such excluded material are responsible for determining whether additional permission from the relevant rights holder is required.
Consistent with its open-access mission, ALFI supports lawful indexing, metadata harvesting, linking, text and data mining, and machine-readable use of its openly licensed scholarly content. Such activities remain subject to the applicable license, appropriate attribution requirements, applicable law, and any rights attached to third-party material.
ALFI does not impose contractual or technological restrictions that override or reduce the permissions granted under the applicable Creative Commons license. Reuse of published scholarly content is governed by the terms of the license and applicable law.
The journal's open-access model does not influence editorial evaluation or publication decisions. Decisions regarding manuscripts are made independently on the basis of scholarly merit, methodological rigor, originality, relevance to the journal's scope, research integrity, and contribution to knowledge.
This Open Access Policy governs reader access, copyright, licensing, and reuse of published content. Any policy concerning article processing charges, publication fees, waivers, or other author-side charges is stated separately by the journal and does not alter the open-access status or licensing terms of published articles.
Agriculture, Livestock, and Food Industry (ALFI) is affiliated with Yayasan Kalidaka Cendikia Nusantara and formally published by WISE Pendidikan Indonesia.
This Open Access Policy applies to scholarly content published by ALFI unless a specific item contains an explicit notice identifying different copyright or licensing conditions for third-party material.
